It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Erlene Jernigan Moore of Havelock, North Carolina, who passed away on March 6, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Junior Patterson Jernigan and Mildred Bernice Hughes Jernigan; her husband James Herbert Moore; and her sisters, Jean Hair and Nancy McCormick.
She is survived by: her children, Jenny Dawes (Michael), Carolyn Jones (Dennis) and James A Moore (Justin Yates); her sisters, Darlene Jernigan and Joyce Hagins; her grandchildren, Bethany, Hannah, Kristen, Rachel and Zachary; and her great grandchildren, Kelsie, Chloe, Ava, Alayna and Sienna. She is also survived by several grandsons-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
