It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Joshua Salter Sr. (Havelock, North Carolina), born in Morehead City, North Carolina, who passed away on November 16, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Virgil Salter; his daughters, Theresa Greek, Virginia Kline and Michelle Salter; his grandsons, David Defeo and Jaxson Greek; and his great grandchild Sophie Tobin.
He is survived by: his children, Johnny Joshua Salter Jr. of Broad Creek, Courtney Shane Salter (Alicia Willis) of Broad Creek and Fredrick Shawn Defeo of Broad Creek. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
