She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Owens and Gertrude Owens; and her siblings, Mabel Owens and George Harold Owens. She is survived by: her husband Bill Harrison; her son Mark Stephen Harrison (Jim) of Norwood, NJ; her brother Henry Owens of Alexander City, AL; and her niece Beverly Jenkins of Kinston, NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
