He is survived by: his mother Elna Bland of Newport; his wife Carol Bland; his daughters, Christina Bland of Beaufort and Amie Furr (Jay) of Newport; his grandchildren, Jonah Seretti, Stephen Clay, David Furr and Abby Furr; and his pet Lacy.
