We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2019, at the age of 90, Roger B. Edkin (Hayesville, North Carolina), born in Madison, New York passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roger B. Edkin to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edkin and Lydia Burton Edkin; and his brother Otto Warren Edkin. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Genge Edkin; and his children, Elaine LaBarr of Lilburn, Sheree Triplett (George) of Elgin, Karen Edkin of Hayesville, Diane Goss (Jeff) of Whitehall, Michigan, Roger Edkin Jr. (Kathy) of Bull Shoals and Eric Edkin (Beth) of Vidalia, Georgia. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Roger B. Edkin to the Shooting Creek Fire Department, PO Box 1334, Hayesville, NC 28904.
