He is survived by : his wife Clara Stiddam Miller; his son Russell Miller; his sisters, June Hodges of West Jefferson and Elizabeth Coldiron of Elkin; and his grandchildren, Brittany Roberts (Jamie), Ashley Hayes, Stephen Mikles (Rebecca) and Bradley Mikles (Virginia). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
