She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Benge and Martha Meade Benge; and her siblings, Bobby, Ralph, Dewey, James Benge and Geneva Reid.

She is survived by : her daughter Tammy Greene (Chris) of Hays; her siblings, Carlos Benge of North Wilkesboro, Joyce Jenkins of Lenoir, Emma Phillips (Wendell) of Statesville and Lorene Pinnix of State Road; her grandchildren, Krista Greene of Hays and Cody Greene of Hays; and her sister-in-law Brenda Benge of Millers Creek. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
