She was predeceased by : her parents, Linville Eugene and Dovie Nell Pendry Brown; her husband Ransom Hendrix; and her siblings, Rose Patterson and Donald Brown.

She is survived by : her children, Patricia Ann Wood of North Wilkesboro, Pamela Gail Honey of Chesapeake, VA, Ransom David Hendrix (Christine) of North Wilkesboro and James Daniel Hendrix (Brenda) of Shepherds Crossroads; her grandchildren, Marsha Ann Hincher, Bryon Wood (Deena), Jamie Childress (Cory), Emma Jayne Honey, Bradley Richard Honey, Wendy Billings (Gary), April Anderson and Jimmy Anderson; her great grandchildren, Joshua Hincher, Elliott Hincher (Brandy), Taylor Wood, Ethan Wood, Katherine Williams, Candice Stanley (Austin), Savannah Martinez, Jacie Childress, Brody Childress, Brittney Rigo (Daniel), Emory Honey, Fisher Myers, Jr., Jolie Wyatt, Kali Wyatt and Sydney Wyatt; her great great grandchildren, Eli Hincher, Oaklyn Hincher and Connor Sidden; and her sisters, Hazel Roland (Hayden) of North Wilkesboro, Reba Saunders of Charlotte, Peggy Riddle (Roger) of Wilkesboro and Barbara Alford (Barry) of West Jefferson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
