He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, George Rogers and Swanee Allen; his children, Carolyn Bobbitt, James Allen, John Allen, Sylvester Allen, Willie Allen, David Allen and Darren Allen; and his sisters, Zula Parker and Ruth Rigsbee. He was also cherished by twenty five grandchildren, eighty-two great-grandchildren and eighteen great great-grandchildren.
