She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard Henderson, Jr. and Mattie Kearney Henderson; her siblings, Frederick Dean Henderson, Pearl Pope and Shelia Faye Henderson Williams; and her granddaughter Ciara Greenwood.

She is survived by : her husband Gilbert R Wright Sr.; her children, Gilbert R Wright Jr. and Stephanie C Wright of Richmond Va; her granddaughter Rachel Collins; her great grandchild Elizabeth Rosie Collins; and her siblings, Elizabeth "Lil" Johnson, Ralph Henderson, Edna Henderson, Arnold Henderson, William Henderson, Erma Myers, Cynthia Henderson Malissa Henderson and Sonja Henderson. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends.

Due to COVID-19 Restrictions, a private graveside service will be held at Ashley Grove Baptist Church Cemetery by Pastor Perry Sharpe.
