It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rebecca Jo Atkins (Henderson, North Carolina), who passed away on August 28, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Satterwhite Atkins and Jack Atkins. She is survived by: her children, Mallory Whitmore Flye (Andrew) of Raleigh and David Tyler Whitmore of Henderson; her granddaughters, Harriette Briley Flye and Elizabeth Ira Flye; and her former husband David Whitmore.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Camp Kerr Lake, 3111 Flemingtown Rd, Henderson, NC 27537.
