He is survived by: his wife Claire Ellen Towler Gill; his children, Russell Gill, Scott Gill and Laura Kroll; and his stepdaughters, Jodi Keeler and Lisa Hill. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and by two great-grandchildren.
