He was predeceased by : his parents, George Savold and Veronica Brogan Savold; his wife Joan F. McCarthy Savold; and his brothers, Robert Savold and Gerald Savold.

He is survived by : his children, Ellen M. Savold of Hendersonville, Christopher G. Savold (Mary) of Cheshire, CT and Gregory Savold of Las Cruces, NM; and his grandchildren, Devin Nicole, Lauren Elizabeth and Brian Savold.
