He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert Toy and Rena Belle West; and his brother Joseph West. He is survived by : his wife Nancy Chastain West; his children, Robert West (Laura) and Nancy Leigh Jones (Tom); his grandchildren, Mollie Jones, Thomas Jones, Lena West and Lucy Jones; his sister Sarah Edmundson; his nephew Andy Edmundson; and his niece Lynn Jackson.
