With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rex Walden Jr. of Hendersonville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 4, 2025 at the age of 29. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Howard, Judy Black and Thomas F. Laughter; and his aunt Brenda Black. He is survived by: his parents, Rex Quinton Walden, Sr. and Sharon Black Walden of Hendersonville; his siblings, Allen Black (Teri), Carson Walden and Tiffany Walden; his nieces, Natalie and Francesca Black; his grandmothers, Hattie Walden and Marqueta Laughter; his brother Jason Cole; and his pet Ozzie. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
