We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2025, at the age of 81, Shirley Dease-Sanford in Hendersonville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Shirley's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Shirley's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Furman Dease and Annie Mae Boatright Dease; and her husband E. "Buck" Sanford. She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Dease; her grandchildren, Joshua Cota, Nathan Cota (Kaitlyn), Tina Hoffmann (Brian) and Calina An (Sovan); her sister Jane Nance; and her close friend Terry Watford (Shirley). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home (538 Tracy Grove Rd, Hendersonville, NC 28792).
