We are sad to announce that on May 19, 2024, at the age of 65, Theresa Joyce Thompson of Hendersonville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George "Bruce" Layne and Dorothy "Dot" Burns Layne; her pets, Snowball, Freckles and Rufus; her father-in-law Gerry Thompson; and her sister-in-law Laurie Layne.

She is survived by : her pet Lucas; her husband Jerry Thompson; her siblings, Terry Layne and Janet McGuinn (Mike); her mother-in-law Wilma Thompson; and her sisters-in-law, Carla Thompson (Kim) and Kathi McCarroll (Mike). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 30th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Biltmore Church- Hendersonville Campus (103 Education Dr, Flat Rock, NC 28731).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Blue Ridge Humane Society (https://blueridehumane.givecloud.co) or Charlie's Angels Animal Rescue.
