With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlie Skinner Jr. (Hertford, North Carolina), who passed away on July 23, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie E. Skinner and Matrice A. Skinner; and his siblings, Joe, Walter Skinner and Mary Skinner.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Skinner; his daughter Matrice B. Skinner; his granddaughters, Tierra and Kierra; his son Charles Skinner (Michelle); his grandchildren, Aden and Charli; his great grandchild Devon Skinner (Jolene); his granddaughter Harley; his brothers, James, Jasper and Forest Skinner; and his close friend Hardy Wiggins. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Melton Grove Missionary Baptist Church (163 Melton Grove Rd, Hertford, NC 27985).
