She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Adam Winkler and Essie Winkler; and her brother Ralph Winkler. She is survived by: her husband Lloyd Daniel Byrd; her children, Sherry Mauldin (Clifford) of Hickory, Randy Byrd (Annette) of Hickory, Danny Byrd (Rita) of Hickory and Tracy Byrd (Shirleen) of Hickory; and her brother Earl Winkler of Hickory. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
