He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cooke and Sally Cooke; his former wife Betty Pitts Cooke; his siblings, Bill Cooke, Milton Cooke and Meredith Cooke Gurley; and his stepson Ryan Fox.
He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Gwen Cook (Bill Cooke) and Merna Cooke (Milton Cooke); his wife Pauline Fox Cooke; his son Ted Cooke; his grandchildren, Danica Norris (Alex) of Asheville, NC, Christian Yuditsky (Kyle) and Andrew Cooke; his daughter-in-law Andria Cooke of Whitetop, VA; his great grandchildren, Layla Grogan and Oskar Yudistsky; and his stepson Dallas Fox of Hickory. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, and many cousins and friends.
