She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurston McNeely, Sr. and Mary Frances McNeely. She is survived by: her husband Ryan Brent Smith; her daughters, Melanie Smith Gray (Scottie) of Hickory, NC and Meredith Smith Johnson (Matthew) of Morehead City, NC; her siblings, Thurston McNeely, Jr. of Mooresville, NC, Lucy Hastings of Mooresville, NC and Mary Frances Lowrance of Kings Mountain, NC; and her grandchildren, Landyn Gray, Coleman Gray, Ryan Johnson and Cooper Grace Johnson.
