He is survived by: his father Dallas Cornett; his stepmother Mamie Cornett of Granite Falls; his children, Alleson Cornett and Evan Cornett of Granite Falls, NC; and his siblings, Dwayne Cornett, Dallas Cornett of Hickory, NC, Daryl Cornett of Granite Falls, Kevin Cornett of Hudson, NC, Angie Cornett of Hickory, NC, Wanda Cornett Merritt of Vine Grove, Kentucky and Jamie Cornett Barnes of Hudson, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
