He is survived by: his children, Becky Carrier (Roger), Jacque Rudisill (Tim) and Stevie Lail (Lucy); his stepchildren, Patsy James (Richard) and J. R. Biddix (Sherry); and his brothers, Terry Lail (Linda) and Ken Lail (Alice). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and numerous other family members.
