He was predeceased by: his parents, Q. L. Huffman and Minnie Baker Huffman; and his wife Nancy Louise Gray Huffman. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Carole Huffman (Ron Spencer) of Hickory and Jerry Alan Huffman of Conover; his grandchildren, Chad Carpenter, Ashley Carpenter and Marc Huffman; and his great grandchildren, Stephen Carpenter, Morgan Carpenter and Gary Hoopengarner (Mandi).
