She was predeceased by : her parents, Ruth Haigler and Uriah Tilden Belk Jr.. She is survived by : her husband James L. Totty (Jimmy); her sons, James Totty Jr. (Monica) and William Coleman Totty (Bill); her great grandchild Carlie Hicks; and her sisters, Mary Lou Belk Starnes (Dale), Mary Elizabeth Long and Sue Ellen Lampley (Sid). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
