He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Koontz Sain; his sons, Thomas Sain (Elizabeth) of South Hill, VA, Nathan Sain (Kimery) of Conetoe, NC, Chris Sain (Laura Jo) of Salem, VA and Brandon Sain of Shelby; his grandchildren, Landen, Tre, Trenton, Logan and CJ; his mother Barbara Cook Sain of Hickory; and his sisters, Gwen Burleson (Robert) of Lenoir and Jan Shook of Hickory. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
