It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bena Shetler Miller of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on July 3, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Shetler and Alma Kaufman Shetler; her husband Eli C. Miller; her grandchildren, Jonathan Miller and Jenny Miller; and her siblings, Malva, Mervin, Delbert Shetler, Viola Yoder and Mary Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Alma Johnson (Bruce) of Lexington, Sarah Heintzelman (Carl) of Thomasville, Mae Scroggins (Lee) of Cincinnati, OH, Viola Durr (Bennie) of Franklin, OH, Ida Charlton (Roger) of Groveland, IL, Miriam Gee (Jon) of Lexington, Brenda Johnson (Greg) of DeMossville, KY, Edward Miller (Cheryl) of Thomasville, David Miller (Connie) of Lexington, Steven Miller (Rebecca) of Franklin, OH and Ronald Dean Miller of Lexington; and her brother Paul Shetler of Fredricksburg, OH.. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 14 step-great-grandchildren; 6 step-great-great grandchildren.
