We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2021, at the age of 87, Bessie Shelton Cogdill of Hickory, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband J. B. Cogdill; her siblings, Emma Hannah (Troy), Willis Shelton and Robert "Red" Shelton (Evelyn); and her siblings' children, Judy "Rose" Elliott, Marie Ruffe and Steve Shelton.
She is survived by: her sibling's children, James Hannah (Becky) of Conover, Mark Shelton of Conover, Regina Thorneburg of Newton, Robin Morrison of Georgia and Nona Shelton of Georgia; and her close friend Lawson Lutz.
Social Distancing and Masks will be required.
