She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Monroe Fox and Elva Elizabeth Bruce; and her siblings, James Larry Bruce and Susan Auton. She is survived by: her close friend Menzie R. Morrison; her brothers, Dale Bruce (Tina) of Hiddenite and Robert Miller of Lenior; her half-brothers, Harold Fox of Stony Point and Jerry "Babe" Fox of Stony Point; her sisters, Carol Baker (Charles) of Taylorsville and Debra Fox Taylor of Monroe; her sister-in-law Marie "Tooter" Bradburn; and her aunts, Johnsie Hartis and Hilda. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
