With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Gantt Troutman of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on December 1, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Clay Gantt and Lillie Elizabeth Combs Gantt; her husband Ernest Troutman; her siblings, Jack Gantt and Nancy Killian; and her brother-in-law Joe Killian.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Joyce (Archer) of Greensboro, NC and Mike Troutman (Patty Herman) of Hickory, NC; her grandchildren, Van Jurney (Jenny) of Granite Falls, NC and Bo Jurney (Heather) of Gastonia, NC; her great grandchildren, McKinzie Jurney, Eric Jurney, Peyton Jurney, Katherine Jurney and Will Jurney; and her sister-in-law Pat Gantt of Newton, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
