He was predeceased by: his parents, James T. Turner and Buena Margarite Melton Turner; and his grandson Justin Turner. He is survived by: his pet Annie; his wife Jimmie Turner; his sons, Vincent Turner (Teresa) of Cape Coral, FLA and Stuart Turner (Angela) of Conover; and his grandchildren, Erica Turner Hill, Devin Turner, Ryan Turner, Cory Birchfield, Logan Penley and Allison Penley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Catawba County Humane Society.
