She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis "Buzz" and Bessie Lowman Lowman; and her siblings, Jane Clark, Nethel Icard, Wendel Lowman and Johnny Lowman.

She is survived by: her husband Henry Hudson; her sons, Mark Hudson (Edna) and Chris Hudson (Darnell); her siblings, Elbert Lowman (Dorothy), Louise Craig and Sondra Lowman; and her grandchildren, Lauren Hudson, Caleb Hudson and Lindsay Hudson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Amorem (Burke Hospice) 1721 Enon Rd., Valdese, NC 28690.
