He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Glenn Edison Simmons and Hattie Elizabeth Lail Simmons; his pets, Rocky Pup Pup, Buster Butter Bean, Boss Hawg, Russell Pete, Bosley, Opie and Waggles; and his brother-in-law Marion Roseman of Hickory. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
