He was predeceased by: his wife Margie Hefner Hollar; and his siblings, Joyce Pope and Joe Hollar. He is survived by: his son Michael Lewis Hollar (Sherrill) of Hickory; his grandson Michael Lawrence Hollar (Lisa) of Chandler, AZ; his great grandchildren, Lauren and Sara Hollar; and his sister Barbara White of Hickory. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
