With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn (Carpenter) Bowman (Hickory, North Carolina), who passed away on September 17, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Ward and Clara Carpenter Ward; and her husband Dewey Bud Bowman. She is survived by: her son Ricky Bowman; her granddaughter Jessica Bowman; her great grandchild Liam Petree; her close friends, Eloise Speagle, Alan Taylor, Darlene Walker, Willa Mae Wall and Grove Baptist Church; and also, Ramona Hurst, Susan Bowman, David Lowman, Sandra Bowman and Judy Little.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Winkler's Grove Baptist Church, 3320 9th Ave. Dr. NW, Hickory, NC 28601, or to a charity of your choosing.
