It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cathy Lynn Mays of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on November 25, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Edgester Mays and Sadie Walker Mays; and her siblings, Nancy Mays, Joyce Mays and Robert Allen Mays.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Jackson (Jonathan) of Old Lyme, CT; her sister Cynthia Herron (Lonnie) of Newton; her granddaughter Eleanor Faye Jackson; her nephew Gregory Mays (Sarah); her great-niece Emma; her great-nephew Scott; and her friend Charlene Moore.
