He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonzo Lewis Ellis and Lillie Ruth Wallace Ellis; his son William Ellis; and his siblings, John, Fred, Ernie, Frank, Mac, James, Jack, Bob Ellis, Elsie Gault and Patricia Ellis.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Moses Ellis; his children, Dana Dentino (Mike) and Charles Shea Ellis; and his siblings, Thomas Ellis and Betty Landis of Hickory. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 3 great -grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
