He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Epling and Willa Kesenger Epling; his son Jonathan Epling; and his siblings, Violet Lavalle, Charlotte Hilbert, Alfred Epling and Cecil Epling.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Kish, Timothy Epling and Anita Prestwood (Norman); his grandchildren, Misty Smithy, Charlie Kish, BreAnne Corona, Austin Corona, Jordan Corona, John Epling (Lovey), Christy Epling and Mae Epling; his great grandchildren, Adrianna Epling, Jonathan Epling, Josiah Epling, Eilayna Epling, Jada Epling, Tyler Epling, Gracie Epling, Ethan Epling, Hannah Epling, Cameron Epling, Samuel Epling, Kinsley Corona, Leah Smithy, Rachel Smithy, Isaiah Smithy and Elijah Smithy; and his siblings, Lillian Blair, Joyce Morgan and David Epling (Kim). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
