He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Jones and Evelyn Vanhorne Jones; his wife Carolyn Jones; and his stepson Gary Campbell. He is survived by: his sons, Allan Jones of Hickory and Kenneth Jones of Hickory; his stepchildren, Tina Merritt (Billy) of Newton and Tim Garrison (Nancy) of Conover; his grandchildren, Brandi Jones, Mirranda Jones, Brittany Carden, Joshua Kiser, Carol Coulter and Timothy Garrison; and his sister Sandra Shaw. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
