It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Sonny Hill Sr. of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on December 22, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivey Hill Sr. and Nellie Hill. He is survived by: his wife Betty P. Hill; and his children, Margaret Adams of Mooresville, Teresa Caldwell of Kannapolis, Sandra Hill of Hickory, Tonya Hill of Hickory and Charles Sonny Hill Jr. of Hickory. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
