She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Grady Ledford Sr. and Sara Ellen Smith Ledford; and her siblings, Harold Ledford, Galen Ledford, James Ledford, Arlene Parsons, Betty Jo Ledford, Maxine Dickinson and Rita Ann Lutz.
She is survived by: her husband Carmie Cook of Hickory; her children, Gary Cook (Jan) of Lawndale and Vickie Rhoades of Conover; her grandchildren, Kerry Penley (Kristan), Chris Penley (Beth), Carmine Willis (Jim) and Mandy Lomax (Alan); her great grandchildren, Kolleen, Raegan Willis, Cameron, Anna Kathryn Penley, Hunter, Grant Penley, Sydney and Davis Lomax; and her siblings, Eula Hefner, Brenda Sluder and Elmer "Samp" Ledford. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
