Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Chiyoko Higa Hunt (Hickory, North Carolina), who passed away at the age of 94, on December 25, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Seiko Higa and Kamado Arakaki; and her daughters, Eiko and Fumiko. She is survived by: her daughter June Starnes (Bill Starnes); and her grandchildren, Christian Starnes and Hanna Starnes.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to Carolina Caring, 3975 Robinson Rd., Newton, NC 28658.
