With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clement Ray Taylor (Hickory, North Carolina), who passed away on September 13, 2019 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Newton Clement Taylor and Myrtie Marcum Taylor; and his sister Jean Cornett. He is survived by: his wife Josephine L. Rhoney Taylor; his children, Dana L. Taylor, Tavie T. Blegen and Shannon D. Taylor; and his sister Peggy Thomasson. He is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
