He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Aldie Dupuis, Grace Hellman, Clifford Pelkey and Clara Pelkey. He is survived by: his parents, Randall Pelkey and Anna Dupuis Pelkey; his brother Shannon Pelkey; and his daughter Alexis Pelkey (Cameron Leonard).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Caring in Corey's name.
