He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Spiva and Lois Willix Spiva; and his siblings, Ralph Spiva, Tony Spiva and Sue Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Epley Spiva; his sons, Michael Spiva and Curtis Spiva Jr.; his granddaughter Brianna Ray (Tanner); and his siblings, Larry Spiva (Bonnie) and Linda Propst (Edwin). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
