He is survived by: his wife Margaret Helen Lippard Gentry of Hickory; his children, Dianne Hudson (Neel) of Hickory, Eric Gentry (Sherry) of Conover, Carol Marshall (Jeff) of Cary and Alice Scarborough (Tommy) of Hickory; his grandchildren, Lauren Ebert Fox (Jessy) of Hickory, Caitlyn Ebert of Greensboro, Adysen Hudson of Fort Bragg, Aleisha Gentry Toth (George Toth), Samuel, Daniel Gentry of Conover, Deric Gentry of Durham, Will Gentry of Apex, NC, Isaac Marshall of Cary, NC, Carly Scarborough of New Brunswick, NJ, Sydney Scarborough of Philadelphia, PA and Brody Scarborough of Cullowhee, NC; and his great grandchildren, Edmund Toth and Barrett Fox.
