He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Samuel and Neva Shook Duncan; his brother Leo Allen Duncan; and his daughter Lisa Rene Duncan. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Elaine Duncan of Hickory; his daughter Melissa Janene Davis of Charlotte; and also, Tommy Crump, Charles Crump, Cynthia Bumgarner, Jeanette, Robert Lail and Jeff Vander Weert.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Humane Society in David's name.
