It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Lamar Coffey (Hickory, North Carolina), who passed away on September 13, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandson Isaac Richmond Coffey. He is survived by: his wife Ann Guthrie Coffey; his son Scott Coffey (April); his grandchildren, Reid and Shelbi of Taylorsville; and also Willie P. "Bill" Coffey of Hickory. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: (Masks and social distancing will be observed.) A service for Lamar will be held at 3:00 p. m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Life Point Church in Hickory with Revs.
For this reason, the family requests memorials be made to New Hopewell Baptist Church, c/o Mrs. Irene McGuire, 5086 Edgemont Road, Collettesville, NC 28611.
