It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald McDaniel (Hickory, North Carolina), born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on June 16, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lee and Hessie Canipe McDaniel; and his daughter Michelle Darlene McDaniel. He is survived by: his wife Barbara McDaniel; his children, Tony McDaniel (Karen), Bryan McDaniel (Vilma), Marty McDaniel (Martha) and Melissa Marshall (Chris); and his grandchildren, Bryan McDaniel Jr, Patti Burgess, Amy Hollingshead, Michael McDaniel, Christy Ambler, Justin McDaniel, Sarah McDaniel, Matthew McDaniel, Joseph McDaniel, Casey McDaniel, Amanda Marshall and Andrew Marshall. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
