He was predeceased by: his parents, Excell Johnson and Catherine Shuford McKinley; his grandson Daryion Randles; and his sister Beatrice Culbreath. He is survived by: his children, Adrian Delon McCorkle of Florida, Kristen McCorkle of Newton, Marlan Shuford of Hickory and Ashley Shuford of Charlotte, NC; and his siblings, Lillian Menton of Hickory, NC, David Shuford of Hickory, NC and Geraldine Friday (Leon) of Hickory, NC. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
